I heard a preacher say, “You need to make time for God.” Great idea.
I wonder how many hours should be set aside. I’ve read about people who spend several hours a day in prayer, but there’s a point where we need to quit listening and start doing what we know we should do. If I have set aside an hour for the Lord, I have trouble believing all the rest of the hours should belong to me.
The apostle Paul said we should “pray without ceasing.” If we’re doing that, what more do we need to do to make more time for God?
